Tai bioshock infinite season pass7/26/2023 ![]() ![]() The introduction of vigors in B:I and the distinct lack of any sort of arial elements (why was I not fighting between buildings that were moving/shifting/sinking at any point in the game dammit?) Makes me distrust the game dev's ability to innovate in combat even while I trust their story chops. So without story, I can understand the gripes. It's like playing through a linear narrative, and that narrative is well constructed. And when it comes down to it, no Bioshock game allows the player to affect the game world or alter the story path. I kept wanting to see the story push forward. I found B:I's gameplay to be pretty humdrum and I found all the combat sequences got old for me real quick. But dishonored's play style is so adaptable it was a natural fit. I thought Dunwall City Trials was sorta lame looking and I bought that and *loved* it. I'm uncertain an arena style DLC for B:I would be any good. "New stories" is not the same thing as saying that "all 3 DLC will be story-driven". In any event, fans who are surprised by today's release shouldn't believe that IG/2K lied about the "all of the DLC being story-driven", because they apparently never promised it. ![]() Instead, it looks like fans have either misinterpretted the above press release, or they made up the idea from whole cloth.IG/2K apparently never officially said the DLC would all be "story-driven content".A lot of people erroneously believed that the 3 DLC covered by BioShock Infinite's Season Pass would all be "story-driven content".Looks like the fans have been making it up themselves. There is nothing about "story-driven" content in that press release. This bonus pack contains four pieces of exclusive gear, a Machine Gun Damage Upgrade, a Pistol Damage Upgrade, a gold skin for both weapons and five Infusion bottles that allow players to increase their health, their shield durability or their ability to use Vigors by increasing the quantity of Salts they can carry. ![]() Those who purchase the BioShock Infinite Season Pass will also receive the Early Bird Special Pack at no extra cost. The Season Pass will include all three add-on packs, and can be pre-ordered today through or at a participating retailer**. The BioShock Infinite Season Pass will be available on Mawhen the game is planned to launch, and provide nearly $30.00 of add-on content for $19.99 (PlayStation®Network, Windows® PC) or 1,600 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network) - a savings of more than 30%. The BioShock Infinite Season Pass will be available on March 26th. Three all-new add-on packs are in development that will provide hours of additional gameplay and continue the player's journey in the sky-city of Columbia with new stories, characters, abilities and weapons. 21, 2013- 2K Games and Irrational Games today announced that production of downloadable content has recently begun for their forthcoming BioShock® Infinite and revealed details of the BioShock Infinite Season Pass*. This is what IG/2K said about the Season Pass back in February. ![]()
